Founded by Carl and John Nieminen in 1985, Cooks Run Cedar, Inc. is one of the most
respected builders in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We
have over twenty-three years of experience and have built over fifty
homes. Our Portfolio includes everything from hunting cabins to
executive mansions. Having our own mill operation gives us the flexibility to create
custom sizes and lengths not available elsewhere. We only build
two to three homes per year, on average, and only one home at a time. Because of this,
